Plastic Pandemic

Yesterday, after two weeks of voluntary isolation at home, I could take a long walk along the promenade of my town to enjoy again the sun and the fresh breeze of the sea. Like any other usual morning, I stopped by my preferred local coffee shop for a luscious latte. I always bring my reusable cup, but was surprised when the young barista behind a facemask told me that they must serve all beverages in single-use containers for now. Without complaining too much, I took my latte and had to accept this reasonable change in the service due the current Covid-19 situation.
